"Hydrangea house is stunning!! Our room was AMAZING!! Thank you Kim 😃. The dining area was beautifully decorated as well as the common area that welcomes you. Our Hosts Kim and Ruth were super awesome in every way, helping us find dining and making us feel welcome from the moment we entered the Inn. Not to mention the delicious breakfast that Kim made for all of us. Hydrangea house is a slice of sophisticated heaven. Thank you for our amazing stay. We hope to return again and again. 😃"

However, the seating around the pool was super comfortable to enjoy the sun. The hot tub was a hit - used multiple times a day by several of us! "We were a bit underwhelmed by the property. It was a bit more run down then we expected. Not sure what the issue was but there was police presence when we got there, which was concerning. And not that it was the property’s fault but some of the guests were a bit noisy late at night. It was fine for one night and served it’s purpose, we were only there to sleep."

"It’s an older motel, slightly rundown, slightly shabby. The beds were comfortable. The room was clean. The neighborhood was safe and the location was very convenient to a nearby expressway. It was easy to get into Providence RI. There’s a nearby family restaurant with decent food and friendly service. We knew going in that it would not be fancy. We got what we paid for. "

"It was a GREAT location, one of only two hotels on Ocean Drive. the grounds were amazing. The building is falling apart a little, there is deferred maintenance, but the room was clean, the staff was Wonderful. we had a view of the ocean, the hot tub was hot, the coffee and breakfast muffins were great. It is what it is and there is SO much to see in Newport that you shouldnt be spending much time in the room. "
