"This resort is a great place. It's about 30 minute drive from the Nadi International Airport and it's on a reef by itself, which means you actually have to take a small boat from the parking lot where you'll get dropped off to the actual hotel property. With that being said, you're pretty isolated from the main island. Some people are going to love that getting away from everything else, some aren't going to love being on a resort where it can be quite difficult to get to see anything else on the island. The food was good, the staff was great and the menu is varied and quite tasty. Plus, they have a different theme for their buffet dinner every night which keeps things interesting. I got an ocean front room, which was beautiful and thankfully the AC worked great. It was definately a great room. If you're coming for the water, the ocean next to the resort (at least when I was there) was quite dirty and not the beautiful clear blue you're probably hoping for. However, the pool directly next to the water is beautiful, it's large for everyone, very comfortable in the island heat and there's tons of chairs to lay about. "

"Although it is an older property, it is well maintained and clean. The staff is extremely helpful and the food was great! In fact, the food was so good, service personable and prices reasonable, we ended up eating every meal there, except one. It is a ways from Nadi airport but worth the travel, with their shuttle (actually a taxi). Check out the fire walkers (surprisingly it included a kava ceremony) at the Outrigger Hotel or culture center."

"Very quiet ( almost too quiet) clean ! Amazing staff Everything shuts down at 7pm which is way too early but there is no out door lighting that’s why. Food was all so good. Adult pool was the best part ! Disappointed they allowed children in the swim up bar. "

"Its own private island and that its separate from the mainland and all the hustlers. Plenty of bars and realy friendly people on resort. Really really safe place for kids as well . "

"I can't say enough positive things about Malaqereqere Villas! It was a great ton of space for our family of 5, large kitchen and space away from others. Watching the sun rise and set from the dining area and outside patio was the best. Kids swam in the pool daily. Kelera even helped our sun shuck a coconut he found on the ground. We found the location to be great but without a car it could be difficult. It made for the perfect home base for 12 days of relaxation and adventure. Already planning our next trip!"
