"We enjoyed our stay with a large gathering of friends and their families. The house was spacious and clean. We enjoyed the indoor swimming pool and sauna, as well the outdoor firepit and fishing in the pond. We also enjoyed the proximity to hiking and river rafting (which was kid-friendly). After the kids went to bed, the large dining area/ sun room provided a great space to socialize without having to worry about noise disturbing those who were sleeping. "Our family had a great time and the VRBO owner was very responsive to our needs while we were there. He corrected things that were not right but we all felt the house was a little rustic and probably needed a little more time before guests started to stay. The rooms were big and we had plenty of room to spread out, the pool and games were fantastic, and the big family room and fireplace were so nice for our group. "Hubby and I wanted a cute getaway for thanksgiving weekend, and this little cabin was perfect. Secluded but still close enough to civilization. The hot tub was wonderful. We unfortunately never got to use the fire pit - just a bit too cold out for us. Space is great. There is a pretty close neighbor, but it didn’t impact our stay at all, and we basically forgot the house was there. The road to the cabin is unpaved so 4WD is probably a good idea. Very cute place "

"My family and I enjoyed the design of this beautiful home and the unique setting over the New Year's Holiday. That said, we had a couple of issues. Notably, the baseboard heat throughout the house (but most importantly in the gaming/TV area) did not work. i contacted the host, who said a service technician would come out to do a repair (on the heat and the non-functional dishwasher).
