Not only was the property clean, easy to locate, walkable and quiet but the lady who runs the hotel is an absolute sweetheart. The breakfast she made us was better than a lot of the food I was eating at restaurants. I would recommend this stay to anyone.
An incredibly nice, welcoming and fantastic host. A wonderful homemade breakfast, beautifully presented and very tasty!
Very comfortable futons/beds, our most recharging night in a simple but lovely place.
Booked this a a traditional Japanese experience for my family. Our host was lovely and very attentive giving us cold drinks and cold towels because it was so warm outside. There was a choice of Japanese or Western breakfast. Both were excellent, especially the Japanese which had fish, omelette, noodles and tea. Quiet area but restaurants nearby.
Dicht bij het station en 10 minuten met de bus. Weg bij alle toeristen maar alles in de buurt. Wandelen naar de deer park is goed te doen. Ontvangst is zeer vriendelijk.
This was my favourite stay in Japan. It was a lovely experience to stay in a traditional Ryokan with tatami mats, futons, Shoji and fluffy doonas. Our hosts were friendly, warm and helpful with good English communication. We arrived a few hours before our check in time but were warmly welcomed and shown to our room. Hospitality extended to a delicious fluffy cream filled sponge waiting for us on our return to our room, and a delicious western style breakfast including bacon and eggs and freshly brewed black coffee (our choice, a Japanese breakfast also on offer) at a beautifully laid out table. Our kids loved the croissants and breads with fruity jams, the yogurt and freshly squeezed apple juice. Our hostess also instructed our daughter to make some traditional green tea. I left belongings which they organized to be sent to my next accommodation. These arrived the next day. (A Sunday !!!!). Very fond memories of this place. :)
Das Hotel erreicht man am Besten mit dem Bus. Der Bus pendelt im und gegen den Uhrzeigersinn zwischen den Tepelanlagen und der JR-Station. Eine Haltestelle liegt in der Nähe des Hotels.

The breakfast was incredible-- and the host was absolutely wonderful. Beautiful traditional room as well.
The location was a little difficult to find for non-Japanese speakers. The shared bathroom and lack of of privacy (simply a paper wall between you and your neighbor) is charming if you want that experience but could be a slight set back if you are counting on some privacy.
Very nice experience overall.

We had dinner on site and it was just amazing. The owner made us a traditional Japanese dinner, great food and service, beautifully laid out and presented, she spoiled us.
