"Me and my girlfriend wanted a weekend away close by and chose Ruthin. We saw the Feathers which was very close to the centre. We booked two nights. When we arrived we were warmly greeted and shown our room and the amenities. It was only then I realized I'd booked a room with a shared bathroom. This was no problem, we were very quickly moved to an en-suite. Both rooms, en-suite and standard, were very clean, tidy, modern and comfortable. "Nice quiet and clean sheltered cottage with dedicated little drive. We spent two days it was really nice it would be even nicer with good weather so you can have your tea outside in the garden. Don't follow the google pin it takes you nowhere but the owner will happily give yuo right directions we were guided by a friendly local farmer."

Absolutely Stunning Log Cabin

"Our stay at Plas Y Ward Log Cabin was absolutely perfect in every way. The location was spot-on, close to all amenities, yet felt beautifully secluded and peaceful. From the moment we arrived, Liza and her husband were there at a moment's notice whenever we needed them, and nothing was ever too much trouble – they made us feel so welcome! The cabin itself was incredibly cosy, with all the comforts we could have asked for. We especially loved relaxing in the hot tub under the stars each evening – it was a highlight of our stay! The local walks were stunning, giving us a real taste of the surrounding countryside. Our daughters absolutely adored the animals by the lodge and were heartbroken to leave; they haven't stopped asking us to go back! It truly was a wonderful experience for the whole family, and we loved every moment. Highly recommend this magical spot – we'll be back for sure!"

Chill time with a view

"Relaxing view from the balcony overlooking the water and park, sitting in a swinging chair. Property was as described by owner. The owner messaged before arriving for stay, to say there was an issue with hot tub, and he was arranging someone to look at it. He was very apologetic about this and it was repaired the following morning, and all ready to use later on in the day. As I have some mobility issues I needed to be careful getting into the tub but was sooo worth it once I did. I have recommended to a few friends this place as they accept dogs."

"The cottage was in a perfect location for us. The town centre of Ruthin is within walking distance and there are many interesting destinations a short drive away. The cottage was clean and all the essentials were provided. The bedding and towels were of good quality and the bed was very comfortable. There is secure off-road parking and the garden is fenced around. There is a tall step between the back door and the gravelled garden, but Ruthin is hilly so this should not be a surprise! "

So close to town!

"We love staying in this townhouse right down the road from the local pub and the Town center. Very easy to walk to the grocery store and visit the local castle. We had a little trouble figuring out the washer and dryer and the oven, but once we figured it out things were good. Warning, the shower is a little small, so if you are tall and large, it'll be a tight squeeze. It's a very quiet neighborhood and it was a perfect location to visit the surrounding countryside. Thank you!"
