"The view is excellent, service is good, meals are yammy, every thing is attractive for next stay. Except a stuff in the front desk is not friendly to new visitor. She missed my booking and ask to contact with Hotel.com strongly at that time even I show her Hote.com confirmation letter and would like to pay for a new room till her college found my reservation. It's great that I got my room after 30 minutes in communication with her. Otherwise, I cannot image heavy snowing and darker outside...

"I want to start off by saying I had a nice visit, I did the half board option and the food was plentiful and very tasty. Lots of variety, the sushi was not good and their take on Western food isn't great but the Japanese food is awesome. 2 different Onsen areas that alternate gender daily so you can try both. The hotel is old, let's just prepare you for this, really old. It could do with a massive makeover but I doubt it will happen as they are very busy due to the amazing location. If you are...

"Very closed to the bus station, which was about 5 mins walk. The hotel is building with old architecture, but with modern updates. It was an easy check-in process. Our room was really nice and spacious. The room was clean, but my blank had a small stain on the blanket. The wifi is really good. There is a public onsen on the lower floor for guests to enjoy. We reserved a 45 mins private onsen for 3200 yen. It was well worth it! The room was roomy and clean. It has a private shower and bathroom....

"Clean modern hotel with its own personal bath in the room. Sadly the customers do not wear clothes and are naked in the communal bath and not modest . The bath in the room provides a very good alternative. We did not have time to enjoy the breakfast, but it seemed pretty lavish. I would strongly recommend this hotel."

"Not sure where the -ve reviews are coming from but we absolutely had a good stay here. It's not right next to the train station but close enough, 5 min walk. There is shuttle service provided to the train station (outlet) and the ski centre. For those driving EV, there is charging available."

"Enjoyed our one night stay here. Booked one hour private onsen and thoroughly enjoyed the privacy and waterfall scene. Also did the public onsen and enjoyed it as well. Yukata clothing and towels are provided. Excellent service and a sense of luxury even though the hotel itself is dated. Good breakfast."
