"Nice guest house with very happy helpful staff. Offered a choice of rooms the one we chose was spacious clean with a comfy bed and an adequate bathroom. Air con worked fine. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace will keep you going all day. Nice place to sit and chill out as well. Hotel owner very helpful in booking bus tickets to next destination. It's central to most of what you need to see and do in Bagan. Plenty of places to eat a short walk to the end of the road. Recommended."

"1 year old hotel but very clean and fresh. Manager was very friendly and helpful. You can rent e scooter for 8000kyat a day, which is really nice because all the pagodas are quite spreed out. Breakfast was simple but nice. Very good all around for the price."

"The restaurant manager is amazing and the chef a most incredible person. I’m vegetarian and he made me the most delicious meals even adapting local cuisine just for me. However the admin is a nightmare, so unorganised and inflexible. Incredibly difficult to get information and our bill was a total mish mash of wrong charges and also left out charges. The gardens are lovely and place is quiet."

"Saw Nyein San Guesthouse is a place that I would highly recommend staying at due to the convenient location and hospitality of the owner. I stayed 2 nights here and the double bedroom was spacious. Air conditioning worked well, and so did the Wi-Fi. The toilet also had a bath tub and hot water was available. When I arrived at 6am by bus, I was able to check in immediately and get a good rest. "Hotel was lovely, very clean and good service. The pool was great and was the reason we booked here. Breakfast options were a selection of western and Asian choices. The location is a bit out of the way but we hired a driver for a reasonable cost. He ended up saving us money as he was able to negotiate "local prices" on everything from t-shirts to beer."

"Expedia confirmed this reservation and immediately took my money. However, upon arriving at this hotel we were informed of several lies Expedia told us: 1) The hotel does not allow foreign guests 2) The hotel has not accepted third party reservations for over two years. All bookings are made directly to the hotel. 3) No one from Expedia or any other third party contacted them to confirm my reservation or resolve the problem I was dealt by expedia's lies. "

"Very nice place to stay Off the big road so it was very quiet The hotel is a bit run down. But wonderful helpful staff They helped me with all problems Can't thank them enough The room was very big though some things could be called run downed The breakfast was normal sufficient Only drawback was the rooftop Could have some more furnitures But we had a nice view of the sunset And the last cup of the breakfast tea/coffee there"

"The manager was very attentive and accommodating. Helped arrange transport, and gave us a discount rate on a room for early check in when we arrived several hours before the time we originally planned. The rooftop restaurant doesn’t look exactly like the photo, but there is a view of the temples in the distance. There was a wide variety of food, both local and international food options. Everything we tried was tasty. Reception arranged a tuk tuk driver to take us to some of the temples and watch the sunset. Pool is comfortable and cleaned regularly. "
