"The property is dated, the grounds are well kept and the pool is inviting but very very cold. I was the only guest in the hotel. I booked online with no issue but when I checked in the owner insisted on cash only. I had the cash but not what I was expecting. There was not hot water to shower with. The bed is very old and uncomfortable you can feel every spring in the mattress. I would not recommend this hotel. "

"Hotel was lovely, very clean and good service. The pool was great and was the reason we booked here. Breakfast options were a selection of western and Asian choices. The location is a bit out of the way but we hired a driver for a reasonable cost. He ended up saving us money as he was able to negotiate "local prices" on everything from t-shirts to beer."

However, upon arriving at this hotel we were informed of several lies Expedia told us: 1) The hotel does not allow foreign guests 2) The hotel has not accepted third party reservations for over two years. "The restaurant manager is amazing and the chef a most incredible person. I’m vegetarian and he made me the most delicious meals even adapting local cuisine just for me. However the admin is a nightmare, so unorganised and inflexible. Incredibly difficult to get information and our bill was a total mish mash of wrong charges and also left out charges. The gardens are lovely and place is quiet."
