"Had an amazing time on the cruise. The staff were great, the rooms were beautiful and the tour was excellently organised. I would recommend to anyone. The only small downside was wanted to spend more time on the boat. We got onto the boat around 1pm and had a safety briefing. We left the boat at 10am the next morning. If we’d have known this before we would have stayed an extra night. But the whole thing was wonderful nonetheless. "

"Amazing hotel and staff, couldn’t do enough to help us & arranged our cruise around Halong Bay. However, hotel wasn’t in a great location for dining in the evening & we couldn’t find any veggie food in the area- not the hotel’s fault of course! (We ate in the hotel and it was lovely!)"

"Our trip with Doris Cruise Line was amazing. Everything was flawless from start to finish. The communication was extremely easy for pickup and drop off. The bus was right on time and picked us up right outside our hotel. The bus was extremely comfortable and quick. From there the tender from the pier to the boat was quick and easy. The staff was extremely inviting and enthusiastic. The food during our stay was excellent. There was a wide variety for all appetites. Our room was fantastic and the views from the balcony were surreal. The entire boat was clean top to bottom. The location the cruise went to was very secluded during the day. We were worried about this because many travel blogs and forums said the Ha Long Bay cruises are over crowded with ships and not worth it. The Doris cruise was not like this at all. We spent a lot of time searching for a cruise and there were many to choose from. Don’t think any more, JUST BOOK IT! "

"The Watson Hotel in Halong fully deserves its 5-star rating. The staff is exceptional, particularly at reception desk where two ladies went above and beyond to assist me. I want to especially commend Joycee and Jenny, who are true assets to the hotel. The food is outstanding, both for dinner and breakfast, with a plentiful breakfast buffet. The junior suite I stayed in was spacious and offered a stunning view of the bay. The hotel also features a well-equipped gym, and my room was impeccably cleaned throughout my stay. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit. Highly recommended!"
