"No place is perfect, we always find good sides and bad sides of the places to stay; we see more good sides for this place and there are some minor sides to be improved but we did not mind them. "Fantastic location, just outside Phra Khanong BTS station. Facilities were simple but all fine. Staff very friendly. A little loud at night as just off a very busy road but they provide ear plugs. Recommend a massage next door! "

"We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The rooms, beds, space, and property are much smaller than portrayed in photos. The photos during booking give a sense of space and common areas like a roof top lounge; however, once you get there you realize it’s more like an apartment and you only have access to your small unit. "As with most places, the staff was great and helped all that they could. Very good price and had a king and twin bed for the 3 of us. The only thing that brought this rating down was the bathroom which was small, the type with no shower curtain, but we managed and would go back for the location close to Platinum Mall and many small shops."

"We had a very bad experience with this hotel and left after two nights though we booked for 6 nights. We tried to get our deposit back but no reception and no response. After one night they asked us to move to another room which was much smaller and discomfortable. Room was dirty, bed was much to hard and bathroom was flooded with water from somewhere which made it dangerous to walk on the floor. We still haven’t got our deposit back and gave up on them. "

"There's a ferry pier nearby. I love the area around this place. The park-like place in front is nice and quiet. It isn't crowded like in siam area. Both MRT and Bus station ares across the river and only five minutes away if you walk. There aren't many restaurants nearby. You gotta walk around 10 mins to chinatown for food. "One of the coolest places I’ve stayed! I cannot overstate how cool this “hometel” is in the middle of “old bangkok”. This is probably one of my favorite stays I’ve ever had traveling. The room was spectacular and the service was incredible. The only thing to note is that the larger of the two rooms faces the street and can get loud in the early morning. If you are okay with ambient road noise it’s not an issue. "

"The Carlton is a wonderful hotel. The property looks very new. It’s is a busy part of town (isn’t everything in Bangkok the same though) very close to 2 big malls. Enough shopping and casual dining around. We had 2 Deluxe rooms and they were great. At checkin time, I asked the lady at the checkin counter about upgraded rooms. She said most rooms were about the same and suggested that an upgrade was not worth it. The beds, bathroom and decor is just like room pictures on the website. Spacious, new modern look and clean The pool area on the 10th floor is very relaxing with a view of the city. Large infinity pool, gym and separate steam, sauna rooms for men and women. I highly recommend trying out the buffet breakfast. Very good quality and variety of continental, Thai, Japanese and Chinese items on the menu. We enjoyed our 3 day stay thoroughly and would definitely stay here again "

"We stayed there for 2 nights about a week after the earthquake. Everything was great! We just love the easy access to the Terminal 21 shopping center! Its an enclosed bridge. You don't even have to go outside. The hotel breakfast is always excellent. Overall a great place to stay in Bangkok "
