Also if you have allergies to strong fragrances be aware the cleaning solution they use is way over powering. "It was nice to be near the ocean. Our only problem was a lack of what you would call "safety" bars for getting in and out of the bathtub/shower and for grabbing onto if needed while showering. My husband is 82 and I am 75. We had to take sponge baths because we feared possibly falling. werewere here."

"My husband, 2 dogs, and I enjoyed three nights in the Captain's Cottage. It was small, but enjoyable. The furniture wasn't the greatest, but we made do with what we had. Also, being unfamiliar with the area, the location is right on the main road which wasn't my favorite when I had to walk the dogs, but the side roads were quiet. If we return to the area, we'd probably try to get a different unit that had a little more space. The one we wanted wasn't available for the time we chose."

"This is a great home for a family to stay in Long Beach. Location is excellent. It’s an old home, but comfortable and welcoming and clean. We stayed with our toddler and two other adults. Parking is spacious, and there are lots of cozy spaces to sit and relax. The hosts also provided a lot of information Through the welcome guide which was very helpful. We would happily stay again :) "
