Very Good

The staff were helpful and polite, hotel is close to a subway and train line which is why I chose it. Lots of restaurants and a convenience store nearby. Underground onsite parking for a very reasonable rate.
Some of the staff can speak English, although I do speak Japanese.
My only issue was with the bed’s comforter/duvet- it was very thin and felt like it was plastic coated. I’m sure it’s easy to keep clean but I found it uncomfortable for sleeping.
I booked this hotel at the last minute due to a change in plan. The staff were helpful and their English was reasonable. The lobby and entrance areas look really nice, but the main hotel looked a bit worn. The room was a good size but the bed was hard - probably not too bad by Japanese standards, but a bit hard for me! Ditto the pillow!

An aging hotel worth the price
Overall, this is a nice hotel for a short stay. Beds are not very comfortable, and the hotel is showing its age (stained carpets, etc.). This is the dirtiest hotel I have stayed in while traveling (extensively) in Japan. Hotel staff are VERY friendly and helpful. For the price, this hotel is a great place to stay.
