"Around 2006, the owners, Jacqueline and Daniel, decided to turn an old stone house near their own place into a Gite. The work was done with a lot of care. The main area has a master bedroom and bath. For families with children, the attic space has an additional 3 beds and a half-bath. "Un logement très propre, pratique et fonctionnel, de circulation aisée à l'intérieur, notamment pour les personnes qui se déplacent avec difficulté. Mme Singlande est très aimable et très à l'écoute, son pastis Quercynois est délicieux. Un grand merci aussi pour les délicieux oeufs du poulailler! "The perfect house for a family holiday. We loved the garden, pool and all the different areas and the fully equipped house felt like a home from home. It was handy that the local town was so near and had all we really needed but also lots to see and do around. Communication with the owner was very good. It was everything we needed, and more!! "We had a wonderful week here at Ian and Lesley's place. It is very secluded and peaceful, yet close to lots of interesting towns, villages and sites. The pool is excellent and the whole place with its lovely garden is a really relaxing environment. Ian and Lesley were always on hand for any tips/help, but also very respectful of their guests' space. All in all, this is the perfect location for exploring the beautiful Lot region. "We have just returned after spending a wonderful 2 weeks at this property within driving distance of the Dordogne River. The property is immaculate and very large. The owners live next door but were not intrusive just a friendly wave every morning. Their beautiful dog Deeper however was there at the gate with a friendly wag and lick which we loved! "Lovely little house with a pool in a wood. Think it was a new rental, all kitchen utensils were new but was disappointed there was no towels/t-tails, iron or airer as the washing line was in the wrong place so had to hang clothes on hangers by the pool. Washing machine wasn’t used as old & complicated & next to the toilet which leaked water. Not enough pillows and blanket left for downstairs was stained. Not a comfortable bed to lay on downstairs. No outside broom as area around sun loungers...

"Slept so well in this quiet retreat in older part of town. On warmer days feel like sitting outside with the large sliding door open. Apartment appointed with anything you might need. Nearby pharmacy, bank, Casino and cafe and brasserie and restaurants within 1 km walk. Good takeaway kebab just steps out the door. Lovely market and easy town to use as base for visiting Lot and Cele area with many medieval towns, Peche Merle, etc. Would stay afain anytime back in this area."
