"The Sonnenberg is a beautiful, centrally located home on Herengracht, arguably the most elegant street in Amsterdam. The apartment was perfect for my 20-something niece and nephew, along with myself. Two bedrooms on the top floor, one with a queen bed and the other with two twins, joined together by a Jack and Jill bathroom/shower. There is a tiny powder room on the landing by the living room and dining room. The spiral stairs are VERY steep and narrow! You need to be in good shape to walk up...

"We had a wonderful stay and this is must visit place to make your holiday even more comfortable. Owner is very friendly and down to earth. Rooms are very cozy and there is alot of space to keep your belongings. Vintage dutch 3 storey house that has luxurious designed living rooms, bedroom and kitchen. Worth every penny and it is located right on the canal with amazing views and just a 5 min walk from the nearest tram station. I would be visiting again hopefully soon. "

"Piet and Marianne were very thoughtful hosts. They were proactive, responsive and in touch through the netite experience. The compound is very beautiful and peaceful. "We loved our stay here! Not only was the location great and easy to access but Marion was warmly hospitable and helpful. The apartment was wonderful and yes, the stairs are a challenge with luggage but this is part of the memories. We will return!"
