"Our hostess, Christine, was very welcoming. She was a wealth of knowledge of the local area, providing valuable information about parking options. Christine also provided suggestions for our evening meal, with her local being our choice for dinner. Breakfast was fresh and her poached eggs were awesome. Highly recommended. "

"Stayed for 1 night and wish could have stayed longer The hotel is absolutely lovely - lovely complimentary freshly baked cakes & biscuits and everywhere spotlessly clean Our room was full of character and lovely touches - Clarins toiletries, chocolates and an impressive tea tray The host are to welcoming and friendly - nothing is too much trouble 5* breakfast individually made "

"Excellent friendly staff. Good breakfast although had to pay extra. Room was clean but paint work was a bit shabby in the bathroom and window had not been cleaned. "

"The place was excellent as was the host Jon. The room was beautiful with en suite, very clean and full of charm. Perfectly situated to explore the town and surrounding areas. Plenty of places to eat and drink within ten minute walk. Would highly recommend if in the area. Thank you for a wonderful stay."
