"Just stayed for the night with a flight out the next morning but the place was clean and updated. Would definitely stay again. The pool area was huge and having the tiki bar right on the property was a plus. "

"Great place for us to use as home base. Had all the necessary items and more! More than comfortable. Stephanie was a great host and met our every need. Having chairs , umbrellas for the beach was great. Looking forward to staying in the future "

"Property was fine. There were hangers but no rod to hang them on. Also, no real place to hang wet towels. The shower doors do not really keep the water from leaking out and soaking the floor around the toilet. Other than these couple small things, the room was good. WiFi was pretty bad but not anything the owners can do about that."

"My husband and I rented this house and were inspired by its close proximity to downtown Sarasota. The house was a haven of cleanliness and comfort, equipped with everything we needed, including beach furniture that enhanced our experience. "The property was clean and the king sized bed was comfortable. The couch was really four hassocks and was very hard and uncomfortable. Some of the other furniture was not as pictured and the bathroom was very small. There were stairs to the place that could use some work and steps up to the bathroomand bedroom. We would not stay in that neighborhood again and I don’t know why a gym was listed. We did communicate since we arrived late each evening. "

"I booked what I thought was a hotel room with free breakfast but was told booked a condo and had to pay 10 if I wanted breakfast. Turns out a condo is a hotel room with 2 beds and a frig and microwave in the bathroom. If you needed extra soap, TP, Kleenex or fresh towels or your room cleaned there was a charge really!!! only saving grace was the bar located behind the property. The location was good and the pool nice. As fir customer service poor as i waited and waited and waited to ask...

"Conveniently located. This is a beautiful and spacious home. The staff were super responsive and kind. The traffic is a little loud due to its central location, but not horrible. Ice/water dispenser didn’t work but they ordered the part while we were there."

"Clean, quiet, fully stocked with everything needed for stay. Bed was comfortable. Pool patio with bubbler providing relaxing background sound. Steven addressed our queries quickly. Very nice overall."

"Secluded, well-stocked, comfortable and convenient to Ed Smith Stadium. Beaches and St. Armands were 30-40 minutes away. The bathroom was a step up from the bedroom, so this house is not appropriate for anyone handicapped. "

"This house was absolutely charming! I caught myself In complete awe of every detail - from the fun decor, to the thoughtful inclusion of all kitchen supplies to make a full meal, to the soft shower towels and the incredibly comfortable bed, bedding and pillows! Fantastic stay."

"I needed a quiet spot, walking distance to the beach for a brain break, and this property was just perfect. It was well stocked, had a quiet, peaceful private courtyard, and ample, comfortable space for me to work in and also sleep well and relax."

"This was a basement room with an add-on kitchen. Nothing like pictured. Not very clean. Not really any waterfront view or access. Your grandma might like it. "

"Location is great..Crescent Beach within a reasonable walking distance. The suite was clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful. The pool is a nice feature. Extra amenities like beach towels, chairs , umbrellas, grills to cook on were nice. Only negative was that the street is busy so the traffic is a little loud by the pool or if you are sitting outside your room. Inside it is not a bother.This is my second time here... I would come back."

Great Experience at Golden Host Resort, Real Gem!

"We stayed at the Golden Host Resort because my wife was having a double mastectomy at the nearby hospital. We really loved the apperance of the resort, very clean. My wife came back after an overnight stay in the hospital, she was tired and in a lit of pain and she commented on how comfortable the bed was and how quiet the room was. The staff were so helpful and friendly. It is such a nice little hotel with a very clean pool. The morning we were getting to check out we saw a duck in the pool just swimming around, duck approved resort. Thank you to the staff"

"We Loved our Stay at Siesta Key Beach Resort & Suites !!!! Every staff member was friendly & helpful including Lee, the Operations Mgr, Sinbad, bartender at The Big Tikki Lounge, and all of the front desk staff we interfaced with. Our room, pool & hot tub area were all very clean. Awesome amenities are provided for the beach including beach towels, beach chairs, a cooler, and a wagon to haul it all in !!! The beach access is right across the street and the beach is Gorgeous !!! The white sand is like flour !!!! The Big Tikki Lounge is a super fun Tikki Bar at the resort with daily live entertainment & happy hour 3-5 !!! The hotel is in Siesta Key Village which has tons of restaurants, bars and shops all right next to and down the sidewalk from the resort. Everything is very close & walkable !!!! We did NOT want to leave and missed the resort and Siesta Key Beach & Village the minute we left !!!! We can’t wait to come back again !!!!!"

"food in cafeteria area is expensive. 1 cheese pizza and 1 order of nachos was $50. Otherwise, the accommodations, staff, pool areas are amazing. The $40 a day resort fee was unfortunate being that it was 45 degrees and we couldn't use the pool areas. Definitely a wonderful place and would stay there again. Just know you're paying $28-35/day for parking whether its self or valet."
