"This resort was simply amazing! Very luxurious, so well designed, the rooms have a wonderful view of the lake, and the service was 5 star! The staff were so friendly and helpful and happily picked us up in town after we had walked down to the lakeside road to spend a day shopping and eating. We got to meet Dorje and his wonderful wife and hear their story of building their dream resort. We would give this hotel/resort the highest recommendation and we considered changing our itinerary to stay there longer. "

"I used Bar Peepal Resort as a base before and after a three-day trek to Mardi Himal viewpoint, without any expectations beyond being a place to stay. I was so pleasantly surprised by the attentiveness and friendliness of all the staff. It felt more like I was staying at a bed and breakfast and the feeling of being at home that that brings. They gave me advice on the city, helped me to organize transfers to the airport, and generally made me feel incredibly welcome in Pokhara and excited on the about the adventure I was about to take. "Great central hotel to explore lake side within walking distance of lake Phewa, restaurants and bars. For KFC lovers, the only outlet in Nepal is opposite the hotel. While the rooms, particularly bathrooms have seen better days, value for money is still very good here."
