"Loved this property and our holiday there. Fantastic gite out in the beautiful countryside with everything you need for your holiday - the open plan layout worked really well in the hot weather. Owners are next door and are super friendly and are ready to help if needed. We took our bikes so a short ride (also walkable) down to Laprade for the cool pizza restuarant/bar or a little further to Aubterre which has a beach by the river and the stunning village has plenty of bars, cafes, restaurants...

"This was a wonderful place, ideal both for relaxation and from which to explore the area. The location was so peaceful and the gite had everything that we could need. We loved having the pool and Martin, Gwen and family were the perfect considerate hosts with great recommendations on local restaurants and Caves. We’d definitely love to come back again, next time bringing the car to fill up on the amazing Monbazillac wines!"

"Our two year old son loved the outdoor area: chasing the ducks, watching tia the dog and the horses being cooled down with water. The sandpit (boulles area!) was his favourite and we really appreciated the fenced swimming pool with 2 locks. No need to bring any toys, lots of games were provided. The only thing we’d look for next time would be mosquito nets around the beds and some cushions for the outdoor seating for when we’re outside in the evening. "Perfectly located in an ideal setting, this typically French Gite had all we needed for our stay. During the heatwave the inside of the property was cool and inviting. The hosts were very friendly, we only wished that we spoke more French. The gifts of produce from their gardens was gratefully accepted and delicious, thankyou."
