"This was our 3rd stay in 2 years, each time in a garden room. The terrace is so lovely to have in addition to the room. We asked for a 'more comfy' chair and we were given one which benefitted my wife immensely. The staff are always very helpful and friendly. 1 improvement would be a shower mat as the shower floor tiles are very slippery. On our last 2 visits we have bought a shower mat in a lical shop."

"We arrived on a Sunday evening and most shops had closed. The hotel is a bit out of town. The room was adequate, but the steps up to the mezzanine bedroom were very steep. The beds were comfortable. "A comfortable hotel, but Hotels.com needs to make it clearer that this is one of those European hotels without staff, where one needs codes to enter the building and room. Unfortunately, the hotel never sent me the codes, and I stood outside the door for a good ten minutes before a kind passerby helped me by calling the hotel for me to ge the codes (my US phone doesn't work in Europe).
