"The receptionist meaning all of them are not friendly and accommodating , I feel they have a guarded attitude compare with the other hotel we’ve been to around shinjuku . "Stayed 4 nights in this hotel. Like the sheltered walkway from Shinjuku station to the hotel. Good for wet days. However; it takes at least 15 minutes to reach the station. We found a 100yen WE bus that is right in front of the hotel and goes to Shinjuku West exit to the station. A good option for those who prefer not to walk the long distance. "Cozy room in heart of Shinjuku. Was happy to book during first bit of my trip because would be tough to have more luggage with me. Room was comfortable enough for one person. They gave you tattoo covers for onsens in the building which was nice. Be aware there are other Apa hotels in area so make sure you have the correct one, I confused the taxi driver."

"Location was really fabulous for first timers in Tokyo! Anything you need was there. It was clean and staff really friendly. Some great restaurants nearby (Kinka was a fave- make reservations). The secret 7-11 up the road to your left when you exit the hotel has the smoothie machine!!!!
