"We really enjoyed our stay at Huntly Country Cottage. It was very comfortable and the hosts, Meagan and Mitch, added some lovely touches. Oats and cornflakes, an assortment of condiments, Helgas bread, and some nice touches in the bathroom. Being on a semi-rural property was something different, and having chooks and a few rabbits outside the property was lovely. "What a prefect location for a family long weekend getaway. So many things to do, great friendly service and everything was in great condition. The three pools were our fave! We will definitely be back! "

"This cottage was perfect for us as a couple. It was simply, but comfortably furnished, with a well equipped kitchen and completely renovated bathroom. It’s a short walk to the main street, parks etc. Parking out the front or round the back. We loved sitting in the leafy backyard with a cuppa. Things to know: the kitchen only had a single sink, which meant washing up often (no dishwasher), but that didn’t bother us - there are tons of good restaurants in Orange. "A great cottage, very convenient location close driving distance to town and everywhere else we wanted to visit. Comfy beds & good to have the heaters when required. Would highly recommend! The Peacock Room in the Oriana hotel was lovely for a meal, and freh figs from Norland Fig Farm were a trip."

"I doubt you could get a more central location for Hahndorf with secure parking. Everything is walking distance, shops, dining, pubs and cafe's. The hosts were lovely and very helpful. Our one bedroom unit was spotless and very comfortable. We would stay there again."

"Friendly hosts, very considerate with secure parking and yard for dogs. It was a very central location, gorgeous cottage that was very clean and comfortable..everything considered to make your stay wonderful..gardens were beautiful and relaxing...our dogs loved their stay as much as us"

Just a little over an hour to go to Hotham for a day trip to the snows and about an hour and half to Falls creek. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to get away from the city from a short getaway."
