"It was a joy pure old school service and hospitality from the moment we arrived I have disabilities and special dietary needs we noticed there was a fridge but no microwave so I asked at the office and the reply was no problem would you like a toaster and plates and cutlery? Ten minutes later an employee knocked on the door and voila everything they promised and later my wife who was seeing the river murray for the first time went for a walk I sat in the cafe watching through the glass wall and enjoyed a cold adult beverage and chatted with the manager at first glance this is an older property but don't drive past they do it right"

"Twin Gums was perfect for our family gathering. It is a much more peaceful part of the river and a great spot to take out kyaks as there are not as many boats and jet skis around. The huge grassed area is lovely and we all loved sitting by the large willow trees.The house is clean, spacious and comfortable with everything you need to cook large family meals. Having a pool table was a real bonus - we all loved our time at Twin Gums and would definitely stay again!"

"Host Donna is welcoming and friendly, answering my questions and leaving us a bottle of filtered water in the fridge, as it was a hot day when we arrived.The cottage grounds are gorgeous, flowers and trees making the rural feel oh so special. The beds are comfy, there is a kitchenette with enough appliances to keep oneself fed, plus a clean bathroom.Best of all - it's dog friendliness. Our dogs were comfortable and happy, which is the most important thing to us :)"

"Ideal location on the riverbank. Grounds well kept and cabins and sites well laid out. Easy walking distance to the town centre with shops, cafes, hotels and pubs. The new cabins are a treat. Staff were friendly and helpful."
