Johannes, the host, greeted us when we arrived and showed us the room, gave us some tips and recommendations for exploring the area, and made us feel immediately comfortable and welcomed. The location, close to the entrance of Vondelpark, was convenient to transportation, close to bakeries, drugstores, grocery stores and pharmacies, and far enough away from the city center to feel quiet. Her warm welcome, attention to every detail to enhance the enjoyment of our stay so appreciated. From a welcome mock tail in the fridge, to daily treats of fruit and sweets was so thoughtful.
