"What a fantastic property! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at ‘De Duif’, a great home, well equipped and in the midst of amazing nature! We loved travelling up the canal and to the lake in the rowing boat and also enjoyed day trips to Amsterdam and Utrecht! We would love to come back! "Property was perfect for our situation. Not in the crazy or expensive city center but close enough to grab transportation to it fairly easily. (Someone could have warned us it was King’s Day - crazy party beyond belief- while we were there but that’s not on the property). Would definitely stay again as it had all the amenities we needed (microwave, fridge) and anything else we wanted was close by. No noise at all from any other units or hallways. Quiet in the evening when we wanted to sleep and...

"We stayed in the island lodge. The lodge itself is very nice, only downpoint of the actual lodge is lack of storage space in the kitchen. My biggest complaints about this place were 1. When making the booking it NEVER mentioned that the only way to access your lodge is via a small rowing boat. I kid you not. I was with a family of 5, and none of us had ever rowed a boat a day in our lives. Had i known this upfront i would never have booked this lodge. THIS ROOM IS NOT SUITABLE FOR ANYONE WITH...

"Very nice apart hotel, not too pricy, clean, they have everything you need, im going to stay there again next week, the problem its just its quite far from public transportation, u need to walk 1-2 km to get there, but besides that all perfect"

"A comfortable and spacious apartment in a fantastic city. As a family of three, the apartment was great. Using the Albert Hein supermarket just 5 minutes away for grocery supplies. We travelled to Amsterdam, Delft and Gouda from here with a 20 minute walk to the train station. Sabine and Martin are fantastic hosts and have created an excellent place to stay."

"Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. When the wifi and tv wasn’t working properly, they were right there to help get it figured out. Perfect location and the apartment was great for our family of 5, all adults! "

"This boathouse was perfect for my partner and I! We took public transportation into Amsterdam everyday (20 minute walk to the bus stop, then a 10 minute bus ride, then a 30 minute tram ride to city center) it was so nice to come back to a quite place right on the water afterwards to relax. The only downsides were that there were no soap in the hand soap dispensers and that the public laundry was out of order, other than that it was perfect! Thank you!"

"My initial Vrbo booking was cancelled 3 days in advance of my arrival. Not much to choose from but this place was available. Pluses - Quick easy communication with booking person. Close to grocery store and restaurant. Easy walk to public transportation. Apartment features all amenities. Ample toilet paper provided. Negatives - bedding in bunk bed room was NOT clean. crusty sheets - bleh. Plumbing issues - kitchen tap leaks as mentioned on other reviews. Shower leaks on floor. Upstairs...

"A very quiet and cosy place ! Nice flat with all the necessary equipment ! All the surrounding is covered of flower greenhouses. The host was also very nice and friendly ! All the family appreciated the place and the stay we had in the Netherlands"

"Stayed 2 nights with my sisters - very clean, host was helpful before arrival, check in was easy and the accommodation, although basic, was very clean, well arranged and had all you needed for a short stay. Easy travel into centre of city by tram. "

However, the property needs some attention to details regarding the following: * The check-in process is little bit confusing for a first time visiotr. * The livingroom rug was old and dirty. * The main bathroom water couldn't escape (drained). Overall experience is very pleasant!!"

"Große Wohnung, schöne Aussicht vom Balkon. Reibungsloser Ablauf mit Rental Valley. Leider war die Sauberkeit hingegen mangelhaft (Staub, Haare auf dem Bett). Nicht so gut war auch, dass die Schlafzimmer zur Innenseite lagen. Das hieß zum einen wenig frische Luft und zum anderen Lautstärke der Nachbarn, die vorbei gingen. Insgesamt würde ich die Unterkunft weiterempfehlen."
