"This is a nice place,the area was pretty and the cabin was nicely furnished but be aware that no soap, shampoo or dish soap is provided, the toilet room is also very small( like airplane or smaller) Also there is a $95 fee for bed linens as well as a cleaning fee and a deposit on top of what you already paid. "

"Resort Poort van Amsterdam, Haus für 8 Personen (2 Familien) das Haus entsprach der Beschreibung, es war großräumig und schön eingerichtet. Die Lage war für uns hervorragend, da der Stand am IJsselmeer direkt vor der Haustür lag und man auch einen tollen Blick von der Terrasse hatte. Leider war im unteren Schlafzimmer kein Schrank vorhanden und es wurde schnell von der Sonne aufgeheizt (zusätzliche Lüftung oder Klima wäre toll gewesen) In einem Bad (oben linke) kam sehr wenig (kaltes)...

Friendly and useful staff, beautiful and peaceful surroundings, the cottage was spacious and clean, and supplied with sufficient equipment (including a recent dishwasher and quite comfortable beds). Only 20 minutes away from Amsterdam if you fancy a visit , but Volendam itself is definitely worth exploring. We highly recommend this place ."
