Wir standen vor nichts in Zaandam und mussten erst da hin fahren von Expedia aus bis wir Ersatz bekommen haben. Da hatten wir bereits 25,-€ Bahngeld bezahlt, was Expedia nicht interessiert hat. "This is a gorgeous property. It is so close to the Amstel Inn. 20 min walk to the Rijksmusem and Van Gogh Museum . Plenty of space for 2 adults and teen kids "

"Great "Amsterdam" experience! Very close to the main train station with great views of the harbor. Host (Han) was super nice and very flexible with our last minute booking and late arrival. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique, Dutch experience! Boat was very comfortable and had ample room for our party of 3. Refrigerator available, but no cooking appliances and you must be able to climb steep steps/ladder, so not a good option for mobility-challenged. Wifi was good. "

"Casper is a helpful host/owner. He had a great list of recommendations and showed us around the property when we arrived. The studio was nice and a great location to the train station. With a Vrbo, I expect to rent the whole place, just be aware that you’ll have a neighbor that you share a front door with and that the owner has an adjoining door they stays locked. "We really enjoyed our stay. 2 Adults and 2 children (11&9). Location is outside of the city center but it was good to be near the windmills, have the use of the boat and the bikes which we would not have had if we had been in the city center. Children really liked staying on the houseboat. We bought food from the Dekemart and ate at Het Heerenhuis twice which was very good. Uses Uber and the bus to get around as well as the bikes. Good communication with the host and they dealt with the only...

"Tolles Ferienobjekt mit super Ausstattung. Alles was man im Urlaub benötigt, war vorhanden. Diverse Gewürze und Kochutensilien, Spiele, TV mit Netflix, Standup Paddelboards, Schirm, Taschenlampe etc. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Ausstattung ist modern und gemütlich. Angeln direkt von der Terrasse möglich. Auch Anfang November konnten wir bei Sonne ein wenig auf der Dachterrasse verweilen. Die Lage ist perfekt um verschiedene Orte zu erkunden. 100% Weiterempfehlung."

"The boat is very basic but is in a great location not far from the centre of old Amsterdam. (Ignore Diemen as the location). It’s very cheap for Amsterdam which makes up for its basic amenities. You can make use of facilities in nearby cafes and the Public library. The surrounding area is just off the tourist route so you get to see how locals live. Cees was a great host, very accessible and happy to help out and give advice."

"Wonderful experience. Martyn was very hospitable. The location is quiet and across from the zoo. Waking up to elephants and zebras was incredible. We enjoyed a nice hit tea on top of the boat in the mornings while we watched boaters and swimmers come by. We truly enjoyed this property and it’s fully stocked kitchen supplies. "

"Beautiful hotel, great staff, clean rooms, excellent breakfast and perfect location. For those that want a small town feel…Amsterdam is NOT the place to be. It’s a major city with traffic, noise, trash, construction and people having fun all night. But the Dikker is situated to take it all in…close to the Museum district, great food and shopping and perfect access to the canal boats or strolling up to the Jordan district. The room we had was very clean, the bed very comfortable and a great bathroom. The Staff were amazingly attentive and had advise on anything you wanted to do. Would stay there again in a heart beat. "

"I liked the staff members working at the front desk. They were very welcoming and assisted me with everything l needed and provided additional detail about the surrounding things to do around the hotel. There wasn't anything l didn't like. I definitely recommend this place and l will stay here again the next time l go there again "

"the rooms were very modern with lights being controlled from an ipad and a very nice design and clean!! each floor had a mini communal kitchen and lounging area which was very nice and a mini fridge inside room. would definitely recommend staying here. a downside is the hotel is about a 20/25 min drive from the main city centre. they allowed us to check in at 12 for free and a €15 euro for a late checkout till 1pm "
