"Absolutely beautiful old hotel in a lovely setting. We have stayed before and we will be back as the rooms are so well decorated and equipped. We have stayed in so many hotels over the years and have never come across rooms so clean and the en-suite as well was immaculate. Staff are amazing and breakfast 1st class. Thank you for another great stay and we will be back soon."

"We stayed as a couple for one night as we were going to the very nearby Norwich arts centre for a gig. The hotel was both classy and cosy, everything was a nice size ( room, bed, bathroom etc), very clean and everything we needed. The building itself is grand, kooky and welcoming. The staff were just incredible and we enjoyed our chats with them....they were very knowledgeable including about the history of the hotel and what else was of interest in the local area. Breakfast was quality ( and we are food snobs as we used to live in France). Really couldn't fault anything. Next time, we'll be back with more time hopefully as we regretted not being able to try out the cocktails at the lovely bar!!"
