"It was a lovely gated community , safe and serene surrounded by nature . A bit far from train station though if you don’t have a car . Harold wood station is 9 minutes drive where you can catch the Elizabeth Line . The only concern was that a fob should be given to long term guests to get in and out of the main gate , that was a hassle . Otherwise I would highly recommend this stay ."

"Stunning? Stunning what a poor quality place this is. No communication from host. Had to chase to get entry details. Filthy. Hairs on bathroom towel - possibly pubic. Bed not made up. Stains on walls. Bad odour in fridge. Dirty bath mats. Rubbish dumped on street outside, old mattresses, hoover, overflowing bins. Shocking that Expedia advertise this place. Would be overpriced at half the rate we paid. Avoid, avoid, avoid. "

"Nice place for a short stay. No problem with checking in or out. The pull out bed is small but works if you’re small. The place is smaller than the photos but works well for 1-2 people. "

"This semi-disaster of a "newly refurbished house" is the fault of VRBO...for two reasons. First, the property is still in the midst of being refurbished with a list of deficiencies that are too many to mention. Secondly, VRBO forced us to make a snap decision on this property because the host of our previously-booked location cancelled on us just 48 hours before we were arriving in England. VRBO promised to find us a replacement property but then, with less than 24 hours before our arrival in...

"Wonderful property. Suited our needs perfectly for a group of 10 teens and 4 adults. The bedroom configuration was a clincher as it meant each person had their own bed. Only 10mn walk to the train station, 30mn into centre of London. High street just a walk around the corner. Fabulous property and we are very happy with our choice"

"It was advertised that this was an 8 minute walk to the tube station when in actuality it was 30 minutes. That was our main criteria for choosing this VRBO. The owner was a nice man. Suggestions I have are to install some mirrors near where outlets are located so hair can be done easier and replace toaster that does not work. Also, we left without knowing what to do for check out. A folder with information on appliances, wifi access, local conveniences, emergency numbers and check out...

"Property is very well decorated and was very clean. Had everything we needed for our stay and would be good for large groups. A parking voucher for on street parking was provided. We had a really lovely time and would highly recommend. Our host was very helpful and responsive to our queries, both before and during our stay."
