"We are a couple in our 50s and came to Blenheim to visit its renowned wineries. We stayed at the French Fields for 2 nights and it really exceeded all our expectations. If I could give it 6 stars I would. The location is super convenient for getting to the wineries. Our room was beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. "Stayed 3 nights at Annick House. Felt like our house from the start. Just safe, comfortable and convenient. Great hosts with history to Nelson. Fabulous fresh breakfast.Nick helped us tour, walking routes and taxis. Had great beer at his pub! Little Thai takeaway near his house had fresh dinners at reasonable price. "The cabin/ cottage is gorgeous with grazing sheep in the paddock near by. Beautiful established gardens with lots of bird songs. Hellen and Dave were so welcoming and gracious to us. If I had known that there were stepp, irregular, slanted and long steps to front door without even a railing, I would not have booked. Also difficult if you habe heavy luggage.
