"Owner was out on emergency but gave clear instructions on getting room key Place was clean and accommodating for its age. Only drawback was if you needed extra toiletries or coffee they must be purchased through lobby which closes at 4. Good restaurants in walking distance"

"What a great unique property tucked in so close to the strip area, yet you would never know. Lots of amenities close by. Sadly, we were only able to visit for 4 nights, and loads of rain. Still able to enjoy pool area, which has the feeling of a tropical garden. Will definitely be planning to return to Port Douglas and this beautiful property, for a much longer visit "

"Excellent property! Fantastic kid-friendly pool, great views, and right in the middle of the action at Trinity Beach. Other pros include a washer and dryer in the unit, a spacious balcony, and secured parking. Cons: despite the luxurious property and (deservedly) high price, the amenities were a little cheap. "The Reef Retreat setting is very nice and tranquil. The only drawback for us was our room was a top floor one. We had lots of suitcases due to our cruise before we disembarked in Cairns. "Truly an excellent place, the owners didnt hesistate to put the best building materials into the villa. There are at least 5 to 6 towel hangers in bathroom. No stinginess there. The architect did an amazing job making a 2 BR villa look big, and on our first entry we said "wow". The swimming pool was special with lots of little spa like sections, all connected to main section, people can sit around and chat with separate privacy.
