"The apartment hotel is a new building in a suburban residential area. Staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a good restaurant called Brothers nearby which serves gyros and other Greek meals and is frequented by locals. There is a mini mart and a couple of bakeries as well on the same street. There is ample street parking so it is a good location for those renting vehicles to explore Crete. We visited Knossos and Matala Beach but did not have time to visit the Old Town of Heraklion. "We did enjoy our stay very much. The rooms were big enough for 4 people and quiet as well as clean. Very responsive service. The pool area though is too small - most beds were always taken and the water is very warm. There is no private beach nearby as mentioned in the property information. The property/rooms are a little dated too, especially the bathrooms. We would still come back as we enjoyed the great ocean view and the quietness of the rooms. "

"This is a truly special property. Fantastic service, beautiful accommodations and a 3 minutes walk(downhill) to the beach. My only concern is that I booked and paid for a superior suite and was given a smaller room than I paid for. The room was enough space so I didn’t complain but I would have preferred to be informed and compensated for the smaller room. "
