"Very quite and the view from the kitchen is great the place is roomy and has a big kitchen and was mostly clean, we would definitely stay again. The only issue we had is they have it advertised that the hot tub was ready and usable, they ended up telling us it was unavailable, other then that not a bad place to stay for a few nights. "

"When we got there we had to clear spider webs off the doors to open them up. (That should have been a clue) It was hot a stuffy in the house, but they left fans since there is no air conditioning (thank you). When we got everything opened up it cooled down pretty well. we arrived kind of late, so we started dinner and let the kids play in the game room. around 8pm my daughter went to get the kids and a few inches from my 10-month-old grandson was a large black widow spider. "It was nice and quiet. Very homey and an escape from the city life."

"The property was very well maintained and very clean! It had plenty of natural light and the lighter color paints throughout helped brighten the place up. Beds were comfy as well as the living room sofa. Driveway was a little tricky for parking if you don't use the owner's suggestion. Property has all the pots, pans and cooking utensils to make your own meals as well as some condiments."

"living in the area, my wife and I enjoy the Kern River and the surroundings, we often tent camp but felt this time we would stay at the lodge, we have a 45lbs dog and that was no issue there. The rooms are clean and taken care of. The store acroos the street has breakfast and burgers. The place was quite and the steps to the river access is a great feature. I would recommend this 10 out of ten times. "

"My wife and our little dog stayed here for the last weekend in March. We really liked the kitchenette that allowed us to make & keep food/snacks with us for our daily excursions. I so appreciate a 12 cup coffee maker in the room that allowed me to use my own filters & coffee to enjoy whilst walking across the highway to sip by the river's edge. Staff was very pleasant and accommodating. It was nice to drive just 15 minutes to get a fresh hot pizza from town. We love exploring mountain roads and got as far as Poison Creek campground at 35.934845, -118.396905 then the snow/ice was too deep to continue to Big Meadow via Forest Route 22S12. That being said, we will stay here again in the future and bring steaks so we can grill on the deck. Thanks Corral Creek Lodge!"
