"What a lovely place for a family getaway! Located near the beautiful area surrounding lake vermilion. this lakeside cabin was the ideal spot for us to spend a long weekend with our two girls. We spent 3 days of hiking, visiting the international Wolf center, and just enjoying the small towns in the area. "Late Oct 2024 Karen was so nice and gave us very accurate information on hiking areas nearby. It was also easy to check in. The cabin was cute and clean. We spent a lot of time by the fireplace while enjoying the view of the lake. The kitchen was fully stacked. Was even provided fresh water, coal for the grill, and firewood for the pit. We would definitely stay again. "

I couldn’t remember the last time we’d been somewhere that doesn’t have the constant subtle hum of a fridge or electricity. This cabin has everything you truly need and the hosts are so thoughtful. "Cool house and excellent location! The only real disappointment was that the hottub was not working and it appeared that it had not been working for some time. Other than this I would highly recommend this home! "
