"Host was amazing. Gave my group some insight of the area and had the wood fireplace ready to go. The host had the cabin very well stocked with household items and toiletries. The views of the surrounding mountains were absolutely beautiful. My only complaint is that the photos of the listing showed a telescope on the back porch, but there was no telescope to be found upon arrival. The overall experience was absolutely wonderful "

"This is a wonderful place to stay. The location is secluded, yet close to all of Asheville. The house is spacious and extremely clean. The hosts are very informative and quick to respond. "

"We have been staying in the area for more than 20 years in order to visit with family. This home was very convenient to restaurants and downtown Brevard. The home was unusually quiet and comfortable! The owner was exceptional with communication. By far the best place we have stayed and will definitely stay again. Perfect for our doggie too! Fully fenced in yard with plenty of room for him to run! "

"We had a wonderful stay for a long weekend with girl friends. The house was beyond what I thought it would be, the pictures don’t do it justice!! "This is the trickiest mountain road I’ve ever driven. 180° turns that go up at 90° angles, but the chalet is worth the drive. The only thing it needs is comfortable living room furniture. Dealing with Darlene is a delight. Highly recommend."

"One of the cleanest, best stocked VRBO's I've ever stayed in. Quick communications with owner. They even had decorated with a Christmas tree :) The only warning I'd give is that you have a large vehicle (like a Suburban), the road these chalets are on would be challenging! The road is very narrow with switchbacks."

This home is extremely well stocked and was very clean. It is in a great location to all of the conveniences you may need but also feels somewhat secluded for that peace of mind. "Had a great time, beautiful view, and the lake was great. The kitchen was stocked well with everything you need. However, the paddle boat was broken and we were not able to use it. The hot tub worked great! Would recommend and would stay here again!"

"Six of us stayed in the chalets for two nights. It was a perfect size for our group and we liked the privacy and sleeping options the two units provided. We enjoyed the walk into town - just about a mile to the nearest brewery, though we took Ubers home. Overall a great stay and perfect for our purposes."

"The informational packet provided by the hosts was extremely helpful and very thorough, and even provided recommendations for places to visit. We only had one minor issue during our stay which we were able to communicate to the hosts to resolve. The kitchen in the cabin had anything we could possibly need and we were able to easily cook multiple meals after visiting the nearby Ingles. Overall it was a great stay and we would recommend this location to anyone looking for somewhere central to stay...

"It is an older motel but well kept. We've stayed there before. They have one of the better breakfasts of the motels we have stayed at. It's clean, well stocked, close to a couple eating establishments. The only downside this trip was the TV not working when we woke up in the morning. It wasn't working any where in the motel. They were working on it. No problems here."
