"My wife and I frequent the Texas Hill Country and look for quiet cabins in remote areas. This one was perfect for us. The cabin is well maintained, clean, and lacking in nothing. The location was remote, quiet, and literally on the river. It is hard to access the water because of the steep river bank. There is a large rope provided to stabilize your climb down and back up. Not a problem for us able-bodied old folks. Kids would love it. We found our stay to quite enjoyable and look...

"This cabin was bright and fresh looking. One of the cleanest I have been in on my travels through the hill country. We opted for the bedding, towels and extras for additional fee, which was well worth it. I wish I had remembered to bring a couple of camping chairs to set on while watching a movie when it was to cold to hike. The kitchen had all we needed to cook. A short distance trail led to the waterside that looked awesome for swimming. The host was excellent. About 35 miles to Lost Maples...
