"We enjoyed our stay at this lovely family bach in Ngakuta bay. Location was great, right on the water, Ngakuta loop trail, and the link trail. We enjoyed the toys and game room. This is a classic kiwi bach and you need to bring your own sheets and towels. We did not hear back when we inquired about the possibility of renting linens. The property is what we expected from a kiwi back and we really enjoyed our stay. "

"A great place to stay for a couple... and, in our case, two small dogs. Everything you need, although no freezer or laundry facility. The fridge is a wine fridge but it's huge and was plenty big enough for our needs. Tons of room, excellent bathroom, comfortable bed, wifi, large tv. Easy access to Havelock and Queen Charlotte Sound, Blenheim, Picton, and Rapara Beach (no good for swimming but awesome ruggedness), plus heaps of wineries to explore."

"This was by far the most neglected and dirtiest property we ever rented as a holiday accommodation. The carpet was full of hair, the entrance area had lot's of spider webs. Dishes and cutlery had to be washed before we could use them. Totally unacceptable."

"We had a fantastic time. The host is an excellent communicator and responded to any questions relatively quickly. The only time there was any delay was when they were waiting to hear from other parties (e.g., cleaners). The house was well supplied and had magical views. St Omer Bay was nice walk from the house and a lovely beach to spend the day at. Hope to return another time."

Our kids also loved a splash in the pool in the afternoons and picking lemons off the many fruit trees in the garden. What a beautiful place to stay while enjoying the lovely wine region of NZ. "

"Beautiful and new apartment with everything you could ask for in a vacation rental. Very spacious with every convenience including state of the art kitchen appliances and a separate laundry room with new washer and dryer. Beautifully decorated and comfortable throughout. Living room opens to a private garden and sitting area. Quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend!"

"We had a very nice stay. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean. Needed more firewood as the house does not have central heating. There were enough blankets to keep us warm."

"Enjoyed our stay at this bach; great communication with the hosts; a rustic Kiwi bach with good access to the kayaks, life jackets and easy access to the beach. "What a wonderful place! It absolutely exceeded expectations in comfort and scenery. Those views are captivating - we spend a lot of time just sitting on the deck and looking out! The space was welcoming and well equipped. We enjoyed an outing to Blenheim to visit the Omaka Air Exhibits and a few cellar doors on one day, and then the Pelorus Mail Boat trip the next day. But best of all was just relaxing at the bach, enjoying the views, some wine, some games and some delicious apples. ...
