"We had such an incredible time staying at the log cabin. It was nearby to Ballysaggartmore Towers which was on our list of things to see in Ireland. There were also awesome nature hikes within a short car ride. The property itself had such a great indoor/outdoor space with the hot tub. It was nice to rest and relax after busy travel across the country. The only bummer was the lack of restaurants in town, but the accommodations more than made up for needing to take a short drive. "We originally booked a 1 bedroom but the night before we got there we were told that wasn’t available and we were being given a different unit. I felt uncomfortable with that at such late notice but the house we were given was much larger and grander. The location was perfect for our stay and travels. The owner was kind and helpful. They have a family farm and were working a lot so we appreciated his time. The views are pretty and it was very peaceful."

"This place and the surrounding area are amazing in my opinion. I learned the hard way, but you deff need a car in this area. The towns all around are cute and have a nice old school charm. And Lismore castle and gardens are amazing. Just wish the lord and lady would allow tours of the castle."
