"Unfortunately, there were very high winds so the power company had to shut off the power to the area. We were informed ahead of time and given the option to reschedule, which we declined. They ran a power cord from their generator to the cabin to the heater so we could have a heat source other than the fireplace. As usual, they were very accommodating and the best hosts, ever! Looking forward to coming back for Thanksgiving!!I couldn't believe it, we had 14 turkeys in the front, about 40 various...

"This cabin was great for a family trip. Host Tammy was very attentive. The property was clean and a lot more spacious than the pictures show. We enjoyed sitting outside under the lights. Very close to town and hiking. "

"Loved staying at this little house. The view is amazing and it’s close to downtown Julian. Kitchen is very well equipped. Woodpeckers will tap on the windows in the morning which is no big deal. Didn’t love dealing with the very steep driveway but that was our only complaint. Would stay here again."

Paul was great and called the day we got there to make sure we didn’t have any questions and to let us know specifics. Such a quiet and relaxing area, the cabin is also very fun with all the little details. It was a pretty hot weekend, and the beds still had the winter flannel sheets, but other than that it was perfect."
