"This was a terrific home. Built in 1860! WOW!! It had everything we needed. Super close to walk downtown. Unfortunately we were here for only one night - we would have loved to explore more of the historic district. We at at Annie Bailey's- a great Irish Pub. Picked up a few things at BUiLDiNG Character- a great gift and antique store. "

"We are a family of 4 including two teenage kids and we enjoyed our stay at this spacious house. The owners of the house were very thoughtful and communicative as we prepared to visit, and included lots of nice touches like a smart TV with streaming apps, board games, a gas firepit in the back, coffee, creamers, local treats, and a nice washer and dryer. "The home was very clean, and yet there were no strong cleaning or air freshening product smells which I am sensitive to. The location was very convenient to Hershey, the linens and towels met our needs well, the kitchen was stocked with basic items for cooking in, the neighborhood was quiet and lovely, and the view/outside space behind the house was so peaceful. On top of that, the owners were great with communication. Highly recommend!"

"We had a great trip, 7 adults and 9 for dinner some nights. Plenty of space to relax and eat. Kitchen had a lot of work space for multiple people. We cook every night. Used the grill though this time of year gets dark early and a little tough to see though there is lighting on patio. Beds were comfortable . Plenty of linens and towels.We would recommend and return S of linens,towels. Wellcomfortable "

"My family visits Hershey during Christmas time every year. This was our first time staying at this awesome property. We loved it! It’s so charming and is really close to all the Hershey attractions. Communication was a breeze! We will definitely be back! "

"This house is super cute! It is on a very noisy street with a train yard right behind it. The house itself was clean. It had no television, we didn’t need one but others may want that in a house. The owners put sound machines in each of the bedrooms to offset the outside noises which was very welcomed! "

Going back to Mount Gretna every evening was much better than a hotel, and the hosts of Butterfly Cottage thoughtful, communicated well and made sure the cottage was clean and well-appointed.
