"Overall the cottage stay was fine. It was clean. The bathroom could definitely use a makeover - everything worked and there was plenty of hot water but it’s old. No extra towels were provided. The kitchen was newly renovated but it’s tiny. There’s a tiny refrigerator and no oven. And there are very few utensils, just the bare minimum. We stayed for three nights and cooked or prepared all of our meals there. The location to the park is very good. And overall it’s a totally acceptable...

"Great little place to stay in and around Acadia."

"Listing says it’s walkable, but it’s probably a good 20 minute walk and it’s not ideal with kids because of traffic once you get into Acadia. It is a short drive to Jordan pond house though. Our mattress was from 2007 and we did not sleep good at all because of it. Not enough seats for 4 to relax in living room after a long day of hiking either. Very responsive host so that was a positive."

"This was the perfect place to stay for our groups MDI marathon weekend. We were super close to the finish line in Southwest Harbor, which is more peaceful than Bar Harbor. Both BH and SWH have plenty of great restaurants and Bar Harbor is only a 15 minute beautiful drive. "

"Truly special! This was my first time ever trying something other than a hotel and it far exceeded my expectations. The property is the perfect stay for anyone visiting the town or going to visit Acadia National Park! "My husband and I had a wonderful stay for our first anniversary. Bar Harbor is a beautiful town and this VRBO is located directly in the middle of it all. The location was perfect for walking to food, shops, the pier, and most importantly, the Island Explorer bus stops. Although a little pricey, it was tidy, warm and had everything we needed in the kitchen and extra bedding for snuggling up."

"If you’re looking for a place that’s right in the middle of town, this is your place! Walking distance to everything in town. The condo itself is exactly as pictured. Very nice, comfortable beds, and very clean. We would certainly stay here again! "

"The property was located in a peaceful wooded area on the quiet side of Acadia. It was not far to the major attractions in Acadia and Bar Harbor. Comfortable, clean space. There really isn’t a kitchen - no stove or sink, but there is a microwave, coffee pot and you can wash dishes in bathroom sink. There is a fridge. It had everything we needed since we were not cooking - just reheating. Lots of information sent ahead by the owners. We really enjoyed our stay. "

"Our stay was great! The property is located in a great place for the views. The only negative thing you can say is that if you are only coming to Maine for the biggest attractions, then you have a 15-20 minutes of additional driving. Not a big deal cause the views are great on the drive as well."

"We traveled to Maine to hike in Acadia National Park and enjoy what Bar Harbor has to offer. Even though we realized we were hitting the end of the fall foliage (while still incredible) and many businesses started to close up for the season, this didn’t stop us from coming! "great location close to Main St. Kitchen and part of bath undated. Cons: toilet crooked; floors in rooms old. Communication process for check in a little rocky: didn't get electronic documents or check-in info until last minute; onsite housekeeper had changed. Pros: Owner worked hard to clear up communication confusion despite being away on vacation. "

"We had a nice stay in Bar Harbor. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and in a convenient location. The kitchen had everything we needed, though a few extras like wine glasses and some basic spices would have been a nice touch. "This new apartment was the perfect size for the two of us. It was very clean and the kitchen was stocked with everything you’d need.
