"The cottage was dirty, the kitchen smelt of grease and all the pots where dirty. It smelt very fusty like it had been left unused for a long time. Beds where very uncomfortable, my wife described it as the worst nights sleep she has ever had. None of my kids could sleep either. Left after the first night and had to spend more money to stay somewhere. When I mentioned all this to the host they completely ignored me and stopped responding to my messages."

"Lovely little lodge with lots of sweet extra touches like fairy lights, a cosy fireplace and outdoor bath. The fully enclosed, large garden is ideal for dogs and children, with beautiful views from every angle. Lovely to see horses and cows so close. Jon is an excellent and very friendly host. We were looked after very well, whilst left in privacy as a family. "We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful house for a friends reunion. The house is charming, comfortable, with great communal areas and cosy bedrooms. It’s well placed near a train station, and a great walk. We loved the fireplace and the hot tub which created a great atmosphere and kept us warm in winter."

"First, the only way go stay closer to the cathedral would be to pitch a tent on the lawn! So much room, large kitchen and separate dining room. Really large bedrooms. Entire house super well kept and clean. We are picky travelers and we loved this place! "
