"The cabin was wonderful. I had my grandson, his wife and baby over for breakfast on Saturday morning. Then we sat in the screened porch for a while. Very peaceful. The property is beautiful. I dropped water on the floor in the kitchen, i wiped it up with a paper towel and the paper towel was clean when i looked at it. Very clean through out the cabin. We will definitely rent this cabin next time we are in Defuniak Springs."

From laundry pods to a variety of games for rainy days, they thought of everything, there was even a custom info sheet on the fridge with local restaurants and their price ranges and contact info. "The best part of this property was our ability to stay next to the "Mansion" where a family wedding was being held and be part of the party and yet have our own space. The guest house is located steps from the main house. That being said, the house needs updates and remodeling. The "shimmer" paint in dark colors is not attractive and makes it feel dark and dated. The bedrooms only have a bed and small table and a rolling desk chair. There aren't any nightstands or dressers, so nowhere to put...
