"I didn’t realize that the property was far from the strip. Expedia said 18 min walk but the walk is down many streets. There are no restaurants nearby, we had to hop in the car to get anywhere. It was a close drive to carvoeiro downtown and a good location to do hiking but everything must be accessed with a car. There is someone at the reception desk til dusk, then a security guard is there overnight. There is parking on site. The suite is large, clean and has a washing machine and a large...

"Honestly when I read the reviews about this place after my husband booked, I was very sceptical. People said it was dirty, had cockroaches, no hot water. None of this was true. About the hot water, you must realize that water heaters in Europe are half the size of North American ones. We had plenty of hot water. The condo is very spacious with two bedrooms and 2 baths. Also has a little patio where we enjoyed our coffee. Washing machine came in handy as well."

"Our second stay in this property and, as before, we were not disappointed. Spotlessly clean, extremely well equipped and nicely furnished. The huge private roof terrace with spectacular views is wonderful. A car is required for trips to the coast or supermarket shopping but there are nice walks close by and a lovely local shop/cafe and we had some nice meals in the local restaurant. "

"This property is lovely and perfectly situated in the heart of the village. Whilst there are bars with live music very close by, it didn't keep us awake at night. The terrace area of the apartment is fantastic - it's really big with enough room for sunbeds. We stayed in September and the sun shone on the terrace all morning until around 12.30-1pm and then it was fully shaded. We loved sitting there and watching the world go by. The pool area is nice and I often had the area to myself...
