"I really enjoyed spending time at this hotel. The staff are very welcoming and wonderful people to be around. The staff made sure that I had a shuttle to go around town and a safe way to get there, had a secure place to store the remaining luggage, and they made delicious food for breakfast and at the restaurant. I would highly recommend to stay at the Stella Maris Lodge."

"Stayed 2 weeks at the Maridadi hotel for work. Great stay! Staff are welcoming and always attentive to the needs of the clients. The installations are also great with a well maintained pool and immaculate grounds. The food is generally very good and of good quality. The only critique I would have to offer is depending on the cook of the day/evening there can be a big discrepancy in the quality of the meal. "

"Lodge was nice. It’s older but they are doing their very best to maintain. Gardens and trees were mature. Pretty! Monkeys were fun to watch as they played and clambered through the trees. Food was good but limited options. Breakfast that was included was really good! Staff were kind and helpful. Shop was small, some souvenirs. Rooms were clean, some tiny and some much bigger even though we paid same rate 2 different stays (before and after our Kili climb). It met our needs for sure of a quiet place to rest before and after our climb. "

" We stayed at Chayna Lodge for 2 nights before we climbed Mount Kilimanjaro. The staff was amazing, especially Omar. He was so kind and helpful for our entire state. When we left to hike mountain, they were kind enough to hold onto our luggage and put our personal items in a locked safe. The property is beautiful and well cared for. the breakfast buffet was great and included an omelette station. I would definitely go back and visit. "
