"I really enjoyed spending time at this hotel. The staff are very welcoming and wonderful people to be around. The staff made sure that I had a shuttle to go around town and a safe way to get there, had a secure place to store the remaining luggage, and they made delicious food for breakfast and at the restaurant. I would highly recommend to stay at the Stella Maris Lodge."

"Lodge was nice. It’s older but they are doing their very best to maintain. Gardens and trees were mature. Pretty! Monkeys were fun to watch as they played and clambered through the trees. Food was good but limited options. Breakfast that was included was really good! Staff were kind and helpful. Shop was small, some souvenirs. Rooms were clean, some tiny and some much bigger even though we paid same rate 2 different stays (before and after our Kili climb). It met our needs for sure of a quiet place to rest before and after our climb. "

"Is a very simple and quiet hostel. My room was cozy and small. The building is old and not too modern. The plumping can be bad. If you are not into luxury and you are a simple person and dont really care about materials then this place is good for you. If you are not like that then this place is not for you. Is located in the main road of moshi so it easy to walk around. The price is realy good with a simple breakfast. Its a fair deal. "

"Honey Badger Lodge has a cabin like feel to the hotel. The property is well maintained and has wildlife like monkeys and tortoise which were pleasent to see. Some things it can improve on are being prepard for clients arrival. When we checked in, the lamp in our room did not have a lightbulb, and we were given flashlights to use on our first night. The temperature inside the room was also quite warm and one fan was not sufficient in our family suit. Lastly, service during breakfast was painstakingly slow - just a slice of toast took 15 mins for the staff to bring. The lodge is made beautifully. It is quiet and relaxing, but can improve in the coustomer service department. "
