"This place needs renovation. Looks much better on the pictures. Shower needs to be fixed. Water pressure is very weak. "

"The property is at a high level of accommodation for the area, however, broken fixtures and leaking toilets across the bathroom floor were issues we faced. The room did not match the online pictures. This was pointed out and the room changed. Staff were friendly and attentive for the most part. Food was good. "

"Absolutely love this property and it was EXACTLY what i needed after a week long trek up Kilimanjaro. Very relaxing atmosphere with a health-vibe. Masseuse on premises made it very convenient. The food menu at restaurant was also very good. Location is very close to Moshi town (about 15min drive - though if you stay here, you really dont need to go into town - Moshi is very disappointing). Only con was the very spotty wifi. "

"I loved the staff so friendly. Manager helped me with a cheaper route to the waterfall. Location wasn't the best as I need a ride to get anywhere but at least rides are cheap. Just be careful of not getting a agreed price before you go anywhere. As it will start at 2k and jump to 10k for little to no reason....the pool was very clean. And rooms were very nice. Asked for a air-conditioning...same day they INSTALLED it!!! Food was good. Really really loved the staff. Soo kind and some even knew...

"The overall atmosphere, plants , trees, poolside area was charming, The stafff were cheerful,welcoming and very helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was excellent and began promptly at 6.30am. Very useful and important for those of us with abusy day ahead! The vening food was cooked to order and also delicious. The water heater in our room did not work but the room was otherwise good and the housekeeping also good."

"I really enjoyed spending time at this hotel. The staff are very welcoming and wonderful people to be around. The staff made sure that I had a shuttle to go around town and a safe way to get there, had a secure place to store the remaining luggage, and they made delicious food for breakfast and at the restaurant. I would highly recommend to stay at the Stella Maris Lodge."

"I was there for business for 3 weeks. Very friendly accommodating service. Wifi was slow and spotty requiring constant log in. Food was very good. Very nice rooms. "

"The bathroom was dirty and not cared properly. I had to buy toilet-bowl cleaner to whiten the bowl.Hot water was so-so, either got it too cold or too hot The bathroom was badly done - when you take a shower the water splashes all over where the toilet and sink are. Judging by the poor breakfast , which I had only 4 times in my 2 weeks stay, I never had any meals at the hotel. Around the hotel there are reasonably priced restaurants for a good meal. The staff is exceptionally pleasant and...
