"Unfortunately, due to cloudy water in the house, we felt uncomfortable and left early. The host apologized but chose not to compensate us for this unexpected yet unacceptable water condition. We enjoyed the time with our family but felt that we were not treated fairly since we had to leave early due to our water safety concerns. "As can happen, an issue arose with the house but Al &Joy were extremely responsive to resolve the problem! Our family had a great stay at their lovely property. We loved sitting by the fire pit and tooling around the lake on the kayaks. Perfect place for a multi-generational getaway."

"The house was at the bottom of a steep hill, any further and you would be in the lake! The trees were full and lush and a nice backdrop to the view of the lake through the trees. The inside of the house was clean and comfortable. The bed in the master was very comfortable. Olivia was great with communication and accommodated a last-minute date change which was very appreciated. "We absolutely adored and loved this property right on the water at Lake Livingston. Perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the swing of the boathouse and enjoy the sunset around the firepit out back. The accommodations were amazing and hosts the absolute best!"
