"We have been coming here off and on for several times per year and for more years than can remember. It serves our purposes well for both visiting family and also for yearly RunNorwich event in September. Always lovely staff who are very helpful. Matt the manager is a lovely guy too and runs the place very well. Great food and a fabulous breakfast is in with the stay. I find I eat far too much at breakfast as it is so scrummy. Still this week that’s offset as it’s part of London marathon preparation and I need to “fuel up”, that’s my excuse anyway."

"This a lovely hotel with sea views. The staff are very freindly and accommadating. The hotel was easy to get to and had plenty of parking. We were booked to have a cooked breakfast but they changed this to a continental in your room. It was cold porridge pots and muffins. There was granola with dried fruit with milk in the fridge. It would have been nice to have porridge pots that needed boiled water and Croissants. There was no extra fan in bathroom and the doors had no soft hunges. This meant from as early as 6am people were slamming doors."

"Have stayed many times. It is clean comfortable and excellent value. The home cooked food has limited options but what there is is always tasty, hot, fresh and good value. Breakfast is excellent. I would not choose anywhere else if coming to the area. A solid 10/10 here."

"Our second stay here, clean well decorated bedroom of a good size (Room9). Quiet as on the upper floor. Good pub menu with generous portions. It was nice weather so sat outside with a drink before going in to eat."
