"Nice place,very nice hotel personnel. Restaurant (that is a part of hotel, but located at another building) offered good food. Waitress were nice however just one of them spoke English so I had some difficulties to order a food. In addition to common dishes restaurant had "a daily dinner" menu."

"Couldn't make the 1st night of my reservation but hotel staff was very understanding, very helpful. Limited French on my part, limited English skills (though better than my French) on their side but they did their best to communicate with me. I was in France for a wedding and they helped me find dry cleaner and manicure locations. Location was good, room was great, clean, comfortable. "Great flexibility for eating in or eating out, good location on quieter street but easy to walk to everything, transport links, grocery stores close by to stock up the fridge, nice walls by the river. Linen and towels clean and fresh. Kitchen reasonably stocked. Found kettle in cupboard which is essential for us brits. Only downside is we couldn't adjust the air con below 22 degrees which was a little too warm at night but not the end of the world. Would definitely stay again if we go back to Basel."
