"Our room was clean and comfortable. It was a good size and set up for a family as we needed. We were disappointed that the spa was closed, an odd decision to close the spa at the weekend when travellers are most likely to want to use it. Breakfast was a little underwhelming but plenty to choose from. The cereal packets were quite a long way out of date. The traffic was quite loud from our room at the front of the hotel. "Great one night stay, very friendly and easy check in. Went for a walk across the Chevin with friends also staying at the guesthouse. Nice drink in the pub afterwards before checking in. Great to relax in the room with an amazing view from the room and the balcony outside. Very quiet room even with neighbours either side, didn't hear a thing. Lots of parking and easy taxis to travel around in the evening. Powerful shower and full cooked breakfast in the morning."

The surrounding area is a short walk away, with some nice pubs, restaurants (with gluten free options), shops and a Tesco etc... The only thing that would have improved our stay would have been some comfy chairs or small sofa in the room as I personally struggle watching TV in bed, due to health issues, but other than that it was a pleasant stay."
